Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Frank Gigone
Dr. Frank Gigone graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984 and began practicing dentistry in Oakville in 1986. He values exceptional clinical care and takes pride in the special attention he gives to all patients at River Oaks Dental. In his effort to ensure the highest standards of quality patient care are maintained he has participated in advanced study courses in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and was previously head of the Dental Department at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
When Frank is not busy practicing he is an exceptionally busy family man devoted to his wife and four daughters and also enjoys skiing, digital photography and cycling.
Dr. Kevin O'Malley
Dr. Kevin O’Malley recently celebrated 30 successful years in dentistry! After graduating with honours from the University of Toronto in 1978, Kevin continued to share his expertise with others by instructing Clinical-Prosthetics part-time at U of T. He has served as Director of the Halton-Peel Dental Association and is currently an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. His presence in Oakville has benefited many of his long term patients. His exceptional clinical skills and calming presence contribute to his success. Kevin’s dedication to providing exceptional quality patient care is evident in the advanced study courses he has taken in Dental Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry. He strives to maintain the high level of quality service River Oaks Dental patients have come to expect. When not practicing dentistry, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family at their cottage, boating, triathlon and golf in the summer and snowboarding and hockey in the winter.
As a dedicated family man, Kevin and his wife Judy have raised three children to become outstanding young adults, each pursuing postsecondary education in aviation, firefighting and medicine.
Dr. Michael Browning
Dr. Browning celebrated the 25th anniversary of his graduation from dental school in the Spring of 2008 and has now been practicing at River Oaks Dental for 9 years. The past 6 on a full time basis. Prior to that he practiced in Richmond Hill for 2 years and Rexdale for 17 years. He has always strived for excellence in his professional career and continues to improve his life long learning with Continuing Education courses in all aspects of dentistry with a particular focus on implants and cosmetics.
Michael and his wife have lived in Oakville for more than 20 years and have one son currently attending university in Ottawa. In his spare time he enjoys time with his black lab named Rosie, and enjoys (but does not necessarily excel at) golf and fishing.
